Fuecoco Takes Center Stage in March's First Community Day
Pokémon GO has announced that Fuecoco will be the star of the first Community Day of March, scheduled for March 8, 2025. From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, you'll spot Fuecoco more frequently on your map, and with an increased Shiny rate, your chances of encountering a special Fuecoco are higher than ever.
Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge (via Crocalor) during or within a week following the event will unlock the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Plus, Skeledirge can learn the Charged Attack Torch Song anytime, with no time restrictions.
A Special Background Timed Research offers an encounter with Fuecoco sporting a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks before the deadline of March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm local time, will further boost your chances of finding a Shiny Fuecoco.
For those looking for more, a $2.00 ticket unlocks exclusive Community Day Special Research, providing access to three Fuecoco encounters with a Seasonal Special Background, alongside the usual Battle Pass and Rare Candies. You can even purchase and gift this ticket to a Great Friend or above.

Beloved Buddies Event: Choose Your Path with Candela or Arlo
The Beloved Buddies event, launching on February 11, 2025, introduces Dhelmise and offers Timed Research with two distinct paths led by Candela of Team Valor and Arlo of Team GO Rocket. Both paths offer unique rewards but start with common tasks granting Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine.
Choosing the Candela path focuses on strengthening bonds with your Buddy Pokémon, rewarding you with Poffins, Stardust, and Ultra Balls, along with encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.
Opting for the Arlo path, centered around catching Pokémon and battling, offers similar item rewards including a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
