After a delay earlier this year, the highly anticipated open-world mobile shooter, Grand Outlaws, has finally made its soft launch debut in the US. Hardbit Studio announced that starting today, May 15th, the game is available exclusively on Google Play for Android users. While the rest of the world eagerly awaits its turn, US players can dive into the action right away.
The additional development time was well spent, as Hardbit Studio utilized it to enhance the game's locations, boost performance, and introduce a wealth of new content. This has resulted in a more expansive and stable gaming experience, setting the stage for a successful full rollout later this year.
At launch, Grand Outlaws offers three core modes: Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch. These modes are designed for quick, intense gameplay, featuring mobile-friendly controls and easy access to weapons, vehicles, and customization options. Players can seamlessly switch between modes or explore the open world at their leisure.
Currently, the soft launch is limited to Android, but Hardbit Studio has a comprehensive multi-platform roadmap in place. A full release for Android and the Epic Store is slated for July or August, with iOS and PC versions via Steam and Epic following in October. Console ports for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch are planned for 2026, and cross-platform play is also in the works.
Looking ahead, the studio is committed to enriching the game with additional content updates. These will include new modes such as Heists and Destruction Derby, live events, a cinematic story mode, and enhanced customization options for characters and hideouts. Brand collaborations and seasonal content drops are also on the horizon.

Sergey Agafonov, Lead Game Designer, shared his excitement about the game, stating, “Here, you can shoot money from a gun, steal a car dressed as Buttman, and win a Battle Royale — all before your coffee gets cold.”
For now, US Android users are the first to experience the thrill of Grand Outlaws' soft launch, starting May 15th.
