Microsoft is set to bring Rockstar Games' iconic *Grand Theft Auto 5* to Xbox Game Pass, with the enhanced PC version hitting Game Pass for PC on April 15. This exciting announcement, detailed in an Xbox Wire post, positions GTA 5 as the headline title of the Wave 1 April 2025 lineup. The PC version comes with the recently released Enhanced update, promising an even richer experience.
An official description from Xbox highlights that both console and PC players will enjoy the latest update, *Oscar Guzman Flies Again*. This update introduces new gameplay elements, allowing players to control the McKenzie Field Hanger in Grapeseed, engage in arms trafficking missions, and pilot new aircraft. GTA 5's return to Game Pass marks a significant moment, especially since it's the first time the Enhanced version will be available on PC Game Pass.
However, it's not all smooth sailing. The Enhanced update, which rolled out to PC on March 4, brought a suite of new features including vehicles, performance upgrades, animal encounters, and visual enhancements. Despite these additions, the update led to GTA 5 becoming Rockstar's worst-reviewed title on Steam due to ongoing account migration issues for GTA Online players. Newcomers to Los Santos should have no trouble, but those looking to migrate their existing accounts to the Enhanced version may face challenges.
