What Recharge Drones Do
In R.E.P.O., various items can be found at the Service Station, ranging from single-use items like Mines and Grenades to those with a rechargeable "battery life." The latter can be revitalized using Energy Crystals. When you start playing, you'll notice a container-type object in your truck, which is crucial for recharging your weapons or drones, albeit at the cost of one Energy Crystal per charge.

When you buy additional Energy Crystals, they seamlessly integrate into the container, eliminating any concern about their disappearance post-purchase. To recharge an item, simply place it in the yellow bucket beside the container, where it will regain its health. This process is vital for maintaining your weapons and drones in prime condition, ensuring you're well-prepared to confront the next level and its monstrous inhabitants.
However, some levels are more demanding, and items can deplete rapidly depending on usage. While you can recharge items using Energy Crystals at designated locations, you might not always be near your truck. How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.
The Recharge Drone, like other items and upgrades, becomes available at the Service Station, which you access after successfully completing a level. This is your chance to equip yourself with tools that will ease your journey through the next level, provided you have the funds.
Since items at the Service Station appear randomly, it might take several visits before the Recharge Drone becomes available. Once it does, it will cost between $4-5K and occupy one of your inventory slots. Choose to assign it to slot 1, 2, or 3 after purchase.
