In their recent Twitter (X) post, Supergiant Games announced that Hades 2 has been in early access since May 6, 2024. Celebrating this milestone, the developer expressed gratitude towards the community for their support and shared their progress towards the game's full release.

Their post states, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

Hades, the predecessor to Hades 2, also followed a similar early access route, taking 22 months before its full release. Supergiant Games, however, aims for a quicker turnaround with Hades 2, planning to launch it first as a time-exclusive on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Launching First on the Nintendo Switch 2

Supergiant Games disclosed in Nintendo’s Creator’s Voice video series that Hades 2 will make its debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the Switch 2 set to launch on June 5, fans can anticipate Hades 2's release around that time.
