Get ready, Hearthstone players—the mystical and perilously twisted world of The Emerald Dream is set to launch on March 25th, bringing with it an enchanting array of 145 new cards, innovative mechanics, and powerful legendary Wild Gods.
What’s Happening in This Expansion?
The serene realm of Ysera, the epicenter of Nature's magic, faces a dire threat. Players have a choice: safeguard its beauty or succumb to the ensuing chaos. The new keyword for this expansion, Into the Emerald Dream, is Imbue. If you play as a Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, or Shaman, you'll receive the blessings of the World Tree.
The first time you play an Imbue card, your Hero Power undergoes a transformation into a more potent version, specifically designed for your class. Each subsequent Imbue card you use further enhances your Hero Power. For instance, Hunters benefit from the Blessing of the Wolf, while players of other classes can only watch in envy, as Imbue offers no advantage to them if they're not among the chosen six.
On the darker side, if the role of nature's guardian doesn't appeal to you, the Old Gods present an alluring alternative with the Dark Gifts keyword. This corruption-laden feature tempts Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior players with raw power. These twisted enhancements work in tandem with Discover options, allowing you to summon nightmare-fueled minions capable of causing chaos. The Emerald Dream expansion includes 10 different Dark Gifts.

The expansion also introduces The Wild Gods, legendary minions embodying nature's colossal forces, with each class receiving one to champion. Some have already succumbed to corruption, creating a fascinating divide between those defending the Dream and those intent on plunging it into a Nightmare.
