Prepare for an epic journey as Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.0 update, titled "Paean of Era Nova," blasts off on January 15th! Leaving Penacony behind, the Astral Express hurtles towards Amphoreus, a new world shrouded in mystery and chaos.
Amphoreus: A World in Peril
This enigmatic planet is cloaked in perpetual night, its inhabitants unaware of the world beyond their borders. They revere the Titans, colossal beings whose devastating civil wars and a mysterious "black tide" have plunged Amphoreus into ruin. Humanity clings to survival in the Holy City of Okhema, teetering on the brink of extinction.
New Playable Characters
Version 3.0 introduces two captivating new characters:
- Herta: A 5-star Ice-type powerhouse, a cosmic genius and master of area-of-effect damage.
- Aglaea: The elegant yet deadly dressmaster of Okhema and a Flame-Chase legend, whose synchronized combat with her memosprite, Garmentmaker, makes her a formidable opponent.

Unraveling the Abyss of Fate
The Trailblazer and Dan Heng venture into the ominous Abyss of Fate, a realm of ancient ruins and forgotten legends. Here, they encounter the three Titans—Time, Passage, and Law—former masters of time and space. Players will meet Oronyx, the Titan of Time, and unlock the Path of Remembrance, aided by the adorable, if somewhat monosyllabic, new companion, Mem.
The Vortex of Genesis Awaits
The final destination in Version 3.0 is the Vortex of Genesis, a sacred sanctuary for the Titans and the location of the Miracle of Genesis. Here, collected Coreflames illuminate constellations, charting the epic journeys of the Chrysos Heirs.
Returning and New Faces
The update also features the return of familiar faces: Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade (first half), alongside Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf (second half). Plus, logging in during the update grants a new Preservation outfit for March 7th!
