Once Human launches cross-test platform for mobile and PC as it heads towards launch

Author : Grace Mar 16,2025

NetEase's post-apocalyptic shooter, Once Human, is launching its first cross-play test, offering a sneak peek at its cross-progression features before its April mobile release. This closed beta confirms seamless transitions between devices.

Following the recent success of Marvel Rivals, NetEase's Once Human (initially released on PC) is finally making its way to mobile. The game casts players as survivors in a supernatural apocalypse, tasked with rebuilding society and battling monstrous threats—even facing challenges from fellow humans.

Once Human's blend of stunning visuals and intense run-and-gun gameplay has generated significant anticipation. While previous beta tests have occurred, this cross-progression test is a key feature for many players, likely the last chance to experience the game before its April launch.

More Human Than Human

The test runs until March 30th, with sign-ups still open. While Once Human might not have captured a large PC audience compared to NetEase's Marvel Rivals, its stylish shooter mechanics seem perfectly suited for mobile players. The upcoming mobile launch is exciting news for this demographic.
