Acquiring New Weapons in Hyper Light Breaker
Exploring Overgrowths is the primary method for finding new weapons. While exploring, you'll naturally uncover new items, but focusing on sword or pistol icons on the map will lead you directly to Blades (melee weapons) and Rails (ranged weapons) respectively.
Blades and Rails come in varying rarities, with gold being the most powerful. As expected in loot-based games, rarity directly correlates with weapon stats. To save weapons for later runs, press the Cache button instead of Equip to add them to your personal stash. You can then equip them before your next run by adjusting your loadout.
Obtaining New Starting Weapons
Beyond finding weapons during gameplay, you can purchase new starting equipment from merchants at the Cursed Outpost. Initially, only the Blades merchant is accessible. To unlock the Rails merchant, you must gather enough materials to repair their shop.

Weapon Upgrades
