Indus by Supergaming hits 11M pre-regs, unveils 4v4 deathmatch mode

Author : Allison May 06,2025

Supergaming's Indus, an Indian-made battle royale game crafted specifically for the domestic market, has introduced an exciting new 4v4 deathmatch mode. This addition comes as the game celebrates another impressive milestone, surpassing 11 million pre-registrations. Despite these developments, Indus remains in closed beta, with a full release date yet to be confirmed.

Players participating in the closed beta can now experience an enhanced audio environment, thanks to a recent overhaul of sound effects and music. Indus, which first hit the scene in 2022, embodies the classic battle royale elements while incorporating unique features like the Grudge system, which rewards players for engaging with their rivals.

Since its announcement, Indus has undergone multiple beta tests and has continuously evolved with new features, steadily capturing the interest of a growing audience in India, a country with a burgeoning mobile gaming community. The game's progression from 10 million to 11 million pre-registrations, although slower than its initial surge, remains a significant achievement.
