One side quest, "A Good Scrub," in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* unlocks a series of bathhouse-related tasks, culminating in a search for a flea-infested item. Here's how to find it for Betty.
Pick Up ‘A Good Scrub’
Speak to the innkeeper in Kuttenberg about work. This will lead you to Betty, the bathhouse owner, located in the southeast part of the city. Accept her offer of work and agree to find Matsek in Grund. Matsek is hesitant to be seen with the new bathhouse employees; find him in the courtyard, speak to the three girls, and escort them back to Kuttenberg.
Promote the Bathhouse
To help Betty attract customers, you'll need to promote the bathhouse. Practice your sales pitch with her, then shout it out in the grain market, horse market, vintners’ street, and merchants’ street. Remember, this needs to be done during the daytime.
Clean Up and Finish ‘A Good Scrub’
Before the alderman's inspection, clean the bathhouse. A timely clean is crucial to avoid closure and ensure you can proceed with the next quest, "Ill Repute."
Finding Fleas for ‘Ill Repute’
After the successful inspection, speak to Betty again. She'll reveal the council's decision regarding the city's main bathhouse hinges on getting a competing bathhouse's councillor to leave. Learn the councillor's dislikes by talking to Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida.
You'll need chamomile brew for the wine cask on the second floor of the competing bathhouse. Lida will only reveal the councillor's preference for fragrant oils after you give her a noblewoman's dress (obtainable from a tailor). Alternatively, you can steal the oils from a cabinet on the third floor.
Katcha mentions the bathhouse's past flea problem. To find a flea-infested item, head to Kuttenberg's east gate. There, you'll find a beggar camp; search their sacks for a flea-infested blanket.
Return to the competing bathhouse and discreetly place the fleas in Councillor Naaz's laundry basket and the clean laundry basket.
Note: Completing just one of the three tasks (the brew, oils, or fleas) might be enough to drive the councillor away. Once the councillor leaves, the quest concludes, paving the way for other quests like "Axe from the Lake."
