Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Controversy Compensation Offered

Infinity Nikki has responded to the issues faced in the release of version 1.5 by offering compensation to its players. Dive into the details of what players can expect and what developer Infold Games has planned for the future.

Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Updates

Free Diamonds as Compensation

Infold Games rolled out version 1.5 of Infinity Nikki with high hopes, promising significant enhancements. However, the update fell short of expectations, leading to an unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content. In a statement on Twitter (X) dated May 18, Infold Games acknowledged these shortcomings and announced compensation for affected players.

The update introduced several technical glitches and bugs, making the game unplayable for some users across various platforms. Additionally, the cost of acquiring 5-star outfits was unexpectedly increased from 9 or 10 pieces to 11 pieces, requiring up to 220 pulls to complete a set, which frustrated many players due to the increased time and resources needed.

A new dye system was also introduced, which players found cumbersome and confusing as it necessitated unlocking color palettes for each clothing item. Moreover, the Threads of Reunion storyline was removed from the update due to ongoing development of the associated outfit. Infold Games expressed regret over these issues, stating, "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion."

In response to player feedback, Infold Games is offering compensation: "As compensation for Version 1.5's shortcomings and schedule changes, all stylists will receive Diamond 120 and Energy Crystal 1 every day from June 5 to June 12, totaling Diamond 960 and Energy Crystal 8." Despite this gesture, the studio has yet to detail plans for rectifying the issues, prompting fans to voice their concerns about the pity change, the dye system, and other bugs in the comments.

Delayed Version 1.6

The problematic rollout of version 1.5 has led to the decision to extend its lifecycle, thereby delaying the release of version 1.6 until June 12, 2025. This delay will also impact the schedule of in-game events. The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, initially slated for May 20, will now be introduced with version 1.6. Infold Games explained, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." As compensation for this delay, players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals.

More Unlisted Adjustments On The Way

Infold Games is actively addressing the myriad issues stemming from version 1.5. "There are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates," the developers stated.

To enhance communication with the player base, Infold Games is launching the Miraland Round Table initiative. This platform allows players to directly share their concerns and feedback with the developers. Players can participate by emailing the game’s official email account with "Table Advisor" in the subject line or through the in-game Customer Service option.

Infold Games expressed their sentiments, saying, "We feel guilt over delayed promises, yet gratitude for your unwavering support." They are committed to making the game "shine brighter than ever." Infinity Nikki is available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC. Stay updated with the latest news about the game by checking out our article below!
