Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon unveiled a poster showcasing Urban (known for The Boys and Judge Dredd) as the iconic Hollywood actor and Kombatant. The poster cleverly mimics a fictional Johnny Cage film, complete with the over-the-top action typical of the character.
Mortal Kombat 2 serves as a direct sequel to the 2021 reboot, featuring returning stars Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion, and Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero.
