Spotlight on the Main Characters
At Jump Festa 2025, Akatsuki Games presented fresh visuals for their upcoming Kaiju No. 8 game (title subject to change). The key visual features Kaiju No. 8 against a striking red backdrop. Five additional images highlight the game's core characters: Kaiju No. 8, Reno Ichikawa, Kikoru Shinomiya, Mina Ashiro, and Sōshirō Hoshina.
Initially announced six months ago (June 2024), the free-to-play game (with optional in-app purchases) was revealed via a trailer. Currently slated for release on PC (Steam), Android, and iOS, the game's launch is currently limited to Japan. A global release date remains unannounced. The specific release date is also yet to be confirmed.
