Pokémon Go has unveiled details for February's Community Day, featuring two spotlight Pokémon. The event runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time on February 9th, 2025.

February Community Day Spotlight: Meet the Featured Pokémon

Karrablast and Shelmet take center stage, appearing more frequently in the wild. Trainers should watch for their rare Shiny variants during the event.

The evolutionary bonuses offer the real excitement. Evolving Karrablast during the event (or through February 16th at 10:00 PM local time) yields an Escavalier with the Charged Attack Razor Shell - delivering 35 power in Trainer Battles and 55 in Gyms/Raids.

Similarly, evolving Shelmet grants an Accelgor with Energy Ball, a versatile move dealing 90 power across all battle formats.

Special Research rewards feature exclusive Dual Destiny-themed encounters with both Pokémon, plus a Premium Battle Pass and Rare Candy XL.

A week-long Timed Research becomes available after the main event, offering additional special encounters for those who participate on Community Day.

Event Bonuses You Won't Want to Miss

February's Community Day delivers exceptional bonuses: 3× Catch XP, doubled Candy rewards, and improved Candy XL drop rates for level 31+ Trainers.

Extended three-hour durations apply to Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense), plus special photo surprises await. Download Pokémon GO now to prepare.
