In the expansive world of Avowed, enhancing your character's power is key, and treasure maps offer a compelling path to greater strength. This guide details the acquisition and utilization of the Woedica's Inheritance treasure map.
The map's location is Sanza's Emporium, nestled within Northern Paradis, a region featuring the coveted Paradisan Ladder. This area, separate from the main city, unlocks as you progress through the main storyline. Once accessible, locate the shop in the High Market and interact with Sanza to purchase Woedica's Inheritance map for 100 gold. This merchant also offers the "Mapping the Living Lands" quests.
Uncovering Woedica's Inheritance
With the map acquired, your quest to find Woedica's Inheritance begins. Utilize fast travel or navigate to the Eastern Paradis Gate Beacon. From there, venture north along the city walls, requiring a climb over the cliffs below.
You'll discover a hidden entrance concealed within the vegetation. Activate the mechanism to the right to reveal a secret door. Inside, a treasure chest awaits, containing the Gloves of the Strangler, a unique item in Avowed.
The Power of the Gloves of the Strangler
The Gloves of the Strangler boast two passive bonuses: a 3% Critical Hit Chance increase and the Lesser Ambushing buff, granting a 15% Stealth Attack Damage boost. These enhancements significantly benefit stealth-focused builds. Note that these passive abilities are not upgradeable.
Securing the Gloves of the Strangler early in your gameplay provides a considerable advantage.
