To start this quest, head to the Tachov tavern and speak with Zdenyek the Mouth. Engage him in conversation, prompting him to share something informative. He'll then reveal details about a legendary axe hidden within the lake, setting you on your quest.

Locating the Axe From the Lake

Before venturing to the quest marker, gather a spade. These are commonly found in graveyards on town outskirts or can be purchased from general traders. The quest marker spans a large area; begin at the pier overlooking the water. Follow the path north, past an undamaged tree (Henry will comment on it), and then to a large rock (another comment from Henry).

Continuing along the path, you'll discover a gravesite near a tree. Dig it up to unearth a gemstone silver ring, five marigolds, and a broken axe.

Repairing the Axe

Take the broken axe to blacksmith Radovan in Tachov for repairs. You'll need a fastening material and 699.5 groschen. Fastening materials are readily available from Radovan. Once repaired, the broken axe transforms into the Adorned Axe. Return to Zdenyek to complete the quest and keep your newly acquired weapon.
