Koei Tecmo's latest Three Kingdoms title, Three Kingdoms Heroes, blends the familiar charm of the franchise with a fresh, competitive twist. This chess and shogi-inspired mobile battler lets you command famous figures from the Three Kingdoms era, each with unique abilities and strategic options.

But the real standout feature is the GARYU AI system. Developed by HEROZ, the creators of the world-champion shogi AI dlshogi, GARYU promises an unprecedented level of adaptive and challenging gameplay. Its pedigree, having dominated the World Shogi Championships for two years, speaks volumes.

While AI boasts can be overblown (remember Deep Blue?), GARYU's proven track record makes it a compelling selling point. For a historical period renowned for strategic brilliance, the prospect of facing a truly lifelike opponent is undeniably exciting. Three Kingdoms Heroes launches January 25th.
