Wuthering Waves' Dream Patrols offer engaging combat challenges. While most are straightforward, some, like "Knight in a Storm," prove tricky due to their unique mechanics. This guide helps you conquer this particular patrol and claim all its rewards.
The Knight in a Storm Dream Patrol, located in the Shores of Last Breath (Fagaceae Peninsula, east of Ragunna City), is marked by a crossed-swords icon on your map after activating the area's Resonance Nexus. The quickest route is via the Tacet Field teleport (unlocks after completing "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms").
Defeating the Knight itself is relatively simple. The challenge lies in fulfilling these objectives:
- Maintain Battle Rank S for over 10 seconds: Achieve this through perfect dodges, parries, and ability usage (including Intro/Outro skills).
- Perform 3 Interrupting Counterattacks: Successfully parry the knight's attacks while its weapon is enhanced (indicated by three summoned swords).
- Immobilize the enemy with Resonance Liberation DMG: Stun the knight using your character's ultimate ability (targeting the white bar under its health).
Countering the Enhanced Weapon:
The knight enhances its weapon by summoning three swords, selecting one for its buff. During this enhanced state, it performs aerial lunge attacks. This is your opportunity to counter. When the parry indicators above the knight overlap, parry its attack to trigger a counterattack. Repeat this three times to complete the objective.
Carlotta players can effectively parry using jump attacks or rifle shots (fired during Resonance Liberation or when possessing Molded Crystal stacks).
