Lara Croft: Guardian of Light Now on Android

Lara Croft is making a triumphant return to the mobile gaming scene. Feral Interactive has officially released Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light for Android, giving fans a fresh way to dive into Crystal Dynamics' isometric tomb-raiding adventure. Players can blast through undead enemies and tackle ancient puzzles right from their mobile devices.

Originally launched in 2010, the game's standout feature remains its co-op gameplay. Unlike other entries in the Tomb Raider series, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light offers a non-linear, arcade-inspired action adventure experience.

This Time, the Stakes Are High

In the game, the world teeters on the brink of eternal darkness, and Lara Croft is the only hope for salvation. Armed with her iconic dual pistols, she must dodge, grapple, and outsmart hordes of undead enemies. But her ultimate mission is to defeat Xolotl, the Aztec god of death. Players can join forces with a friend in online co-op mode in this engaging twin-stick shooter. One of the game's most exciting features is its cross-platform play, allowing iOS and Android users to team up seamlessly.

To celebrate the Android launch, Feral Interactive has released a new trailer. You can watch it right here to get a glimpse of the action:

This Mobile Release Doesn’t Skimp on Content

The Android version of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light includes all fourteen levels from the original game, along with the three free DLC packs. This means players have access to a wealth of hidden collectibles, high-score challenges, and additional weapons and stat-boosting artifacts.

The mobile release also offers customizable touchscreen controls, allowing players to tailor their gaming experience. For those who prefer traditional gaming, the option to connect a gamepad is available. The game is now available on the Google Play Store for $9.99, so be sure to check it out if you're interested.
