MapleStory Worlds is now available on mobile and PC in the Americas and Europe

MapleStory Worlds, the latest addition to the popular Nexon franchise, is now officially launching in the Americas and Europe! Following a soft launch in late 2024, this new title is available on both mobile and PC.

Essentially a MapleStory-themed Roblox, MapleStory Worlds empowers players to craft their own side-scrolling adventures using a range of tools, from beginner-friendly to advanced. Create classic RPGs, shooting games, or social hubs—the possibilities are vast.

Cross-platform play between mobile and PC is a key feature. While Nexon highlights monetization opportunities for creators, the core appeal for many will likely be the chance to recreate beloved MapleStory experiences with enhanced tools.

A World of Your Own Making

While intrigued, I remain somewhat cautious about MapleStory Worlds. The game's charming pixel art is undeniably appealing, yet widespread fan enthusiasm hasn't been overwhelmingly apparent.

However, the diverse range of experiences offered, from platformers to zombie survival games, may broaden its appeal as a standalone platform. Its success will depend on player reception following its full launch.
