Summary
NetEase has released comprehensive statistics and data highlighting character popularity and win rates across various game modes in Marvel Rivals. The data, collected over the first month since the game's early December launch, showcases the most and least picked heroes, as well as those with the highest win rates.
Jeff the Land Shark emerges as the most picked hero in Quickplay across both PC and console platforms. In competitive play, Cloak & Dagger lead on consoles, while Luna Snow is the top pick on PC. Despite Jeff's popularity, Mantis holds the highest win rate across all roles, platforms, and game modes, with impressive rates of 56% in Quickplay and 55% in Competitive. Other high-performing characters include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
On the other end, Storm has one of the lowest pick rates, with only 1.66% in Quickplay and 0.69% in Competitive. This is attributed to her perceived weak damage output and frustrating playstyle. However, fans can look forward to potential improvements as Storm is set to receive significant buffs in the upcoming Season 1.
Season 1, launching on January 10, will introduce The Fantastic Four to Marvel Rivals. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman will be available at the season's start, with The Human Torch and The Thing joining mid-season. This new content, along with the balance changes, is expected to shake up the current hero meta and potentially alter the game's statistics significantly.
