Mask Around: The Sequel to Mask Up Delivers More Gooey Action!
Following the 2020 release of the unique roguelike platformer, Mask Up, developer Rouli returns with the highly anticipated sequel, Mask Around. This time, the yellow goo is back, but with a twist! Prepare for a blend of run-and-gun action and close-quarters brawling.
Remember the original Mask Up? You evolved from a simple puddle of yellow goo into a powerful, gooey hero. Mask Around builds upon that foundation, adding 2D shooting mechanics to the mix. Now you can seamlessly switch between ranged combat and melee attacks, utilizing your goo powers strategically.
However, the precious yellow ooze remains a limited resource. Careful management is crucial, especially during intense boss encounters. The sequel also boasts improved graphics and refined gameplay.
Mask Around is currently available on Google Play. While an iOS release hasn't been announced, it appears to be a significant upgrade from its predecessor, offering expanded gameplay while retaining the core elements that made Mask Up so memorable.
