New Mercenaries Troop System Launched in Age of Empires Mobile

The iconic strategy franchise, *Age of Empires Mobile*, is expanding its horizons with the introduction of the new Mercenaries System, granting players enhanced control and power over their armies. This exciting update allows for deeper strategic gameplay and more dynamic battles.

Players can unlock the Mercenary Camp upon reaching Level 26, where they can contract and recruit formidable mercenary units. Not only can these units be recruited, but players can also unlock and upgrade technologies exclusive to these elite warriors, further enhancing their combat effectiveness.

Each mercenary group boasts unique special skills, which are detailed below:

Byzantine Cataphract:

• Increase the damage of all hero skills of the army by [2%]

Swiss Pikeman:

• Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
• Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]

Korean Archer:

• Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
• Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]

Players have the opportunity to secure their first Mercenaries for free by participating in a new event, which is currently live alongside the system's launch.
