Methods pits 100 detectives against a series of criminal masterminds in a high-stakes competition. The prize? $1 million for the detective, and parole for the criminal, regardless of their crimes. Despite the high stakes, the game features a lighthearted tone, stylish artwork reminiscent of Danganronpa, and relatively straightforward gameplay involving observation and multiple-choice questions.

Methods 5: The Last Stage brings the main storyline to a close as the final detective tackles the sixth and final stage. The release also includes the bonus DLC, Methods: The Illusion Murders. While the episodic format might not appeal to everyone, fans of the series will undoubtedly be eager to experience the conclusion.
