Metro Quester – Hack & Slash has just landed on Android, offering a fresh take on the classic dungeon crawler RPG genre. Unlike typical KEMCO games, this turn-based JRPG dives deep into the gritty, old-school dungeon exploration experience.
Seek the Truth of a Lost World
In Metro Quester, you join a crew of scavengers on a mission to survive by venturing into underground ruins. Your goal? To gather enough resources before your weekly food quota of 100 runs out within seven in-game days. Explore monster-filled areas like Otemachi and Ginza, scavenging for leftovers that could mean the difference between life and death. Remember, you can only level up once you're safely back at camp, provided you've survived and collected enough.
With 24 unique characters to choose from, each belonging to one of eight distinct classes, you have the freedom to tailor your team's skills, weapons, and strategies. Each ability consumes action points, and you're limited to five points and one use per ability per round, making strategic planning crucial.
As you navigate the dungeon, the map unfolds before you. You might uncover food hidden in the dirt, encounter monster nests, pick up keys to new areas, or even stumble upon a campground where you can establish a new base.
Metro Quester – Hack & Slash Is Now Out on Android
The game's visual style is stark and minimalistic, with a bleak, colorless environment that contrasts sharply with your vibrant team. For a closer look, check out the trailer below:
