Mobile Gaming: KEMCO Unveils Novel Rogue, a Card Deck-Building Roguelite

KEMCO's latest Android release, Novel Rogue, is a captivating pixel-art fantasy JRPG with roguelite elements and card deck-building mechanics. Explore enchanting worlds, unravel intriguing narratives, and engage in strategic battles.

Embark on the adventure as Wright, a young apprentice under the tutelage of Yuisil, the Witch of Portals, within the Ancient Library. Wright's journey takes him through four magical books, each transporting him to a unique realm. Aid a princess knight in restoring a fallen kingdom, or delve into the enigmas of the underworld – each book offers a distinct experience. Your choices significantly impact these worlds, ensuring replayability and diverse gameplay.

Gameplay Mechanics:

Novel Rogue features a turn-based card battle system that adapts to the world you're exploring. Each of the four realms presents a unique deck-building challenge. After each victorious battle, select three new cards to refine your strategy and create the ultimate deck.

Strategic depth is enhanced by the "Change" command, allowing you to redistribute damage among allies, and "Novel Power," which empowers your deck using ink. For a more challenging experience, try the Deep Record mode, which significantly increases dungeon difficulty.

Cultivate relationships with characters by gifting them treasures, unlocking special endings. Customize your characters' appearances with Witch Stones, allowing you to select your preferred outfits.

Novel Rogue is available now on the Google Play Store as a free-to-play title. A premium version offers 150 bonus Witch Stones and additional benefits such as ad-free gameplay.
