The character is clearly a nod to the iconic Pink Floyd. Floyd's introduction mirrors the band's Dark Side of the Moon album cover, showcasing a light prism effect. Interestingly, many of Floyd's moves are borrowed from other ninjas in the game, incorporating Sub-Zero's freezing abilities and Scorpion's spear attacks. Adding to the fun, Floyd boasts 1337 health points.
Long-time fans might experience a sense of déjà vu, recalling Reptile, the hidden character from the original Mortal Kombat game. Like Floyd, Reptile was notoriously difficult to defeat and utilized a moveset compiled from other ninjas.
Currently, unlocking Floyd remains a mystery. While the community is actively searching for consistent triggers, the encounters seem somewhat random, though Floyd offers clues about required challenges. A definitive method for encountering him hasn't yet been confirmed.
