Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its monumental 10th anniversary with a massive update from Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios, set to launch on March 25th. This update introduces a host of new content including fresh fighters, a revamped Faction Wars, a new challenge tower, and an array of anniversary rewards that fans won't want to miss.
Celebrate 10 Years of Brutal, Fast-Paced Kombat!
The spotlight of the update is the introduction of MK1 Geras as a new diamond-tier fighter. Geras comes loaded with a variety of abilities, including power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To add him to your roster, you'll need to earn him through Realm Klash rewards or the Kombat Pass.
Klassic Skarlet also joins the fray as the first gold-tier fighter capable of being fully ascended to Level 5. Her arsenal includes unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from opponents. You can acquire her through either the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the regular Kombat Pass.
Faction Wars has been revamped and is now known as Realm Klash. This new iteration allows players to choose from five different realms and compete for Realm Points over two-week seasons, moving beyond the traditional fight for Blood Rubies.
The 10th Anniversary update also introduces new ranks to Mortal Kombat Mobile—Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs now include Kameo offers along with MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has received a visual overhaul, new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for previous exploits.
New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary
A new Tower of Time event challenges players with a limited-time event lasting two weeks, featuring only 50 floors. This tower offers seven new pieces of Tower of Time equipment to collect, with MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras receiving their own Brutality equipment sets.
The update also introduces a Fusion Boost modifier, which enhances the lowest fused card in your team to balance gameplay. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are making a comeback.
As part of the anniversary celebration, starting April 1st, players will receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo daily for 10 days. Additionally, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension.
