Given the flood of fake game announcements and gags that typically hit the internet around April Fools' Day, fans are understandably skeptical. However, Pocketpair is keen to reassure everyone that Palworld! More Than Just Pals is indeed a real project. This concept originated from their 2024 April Fools' Day stunt, which jokingly introduced the idea of More Than Just Pals. Now, it's turning into a reality, set to be released on PC via Steam at a date yet to be announced.
Palworld! More Than Just Pals takes players into the world of Palagos Private Academy, where they enroll as a transfer student. Here, players can befriend and even fall in love with a diverse cast of student Pals, including characters like the "cute" and "mysterious" Katress and the "timid" Chillet, all familiar names from the original Palworld game. The official description from Pocketpair teases an immersive experience where players can navigate friendships, romance, and even darker paths with their Pals.
