Persona 5: The Phantom X is set to launch globally, with Android pre-registration now open. Originally announced for a June 26th, 2025 release in Japan, the international version will debut simultaneously on the same date.
Having launched a year prior in China—followed by Taiwan, South Korea, Macau, and Hong Kong—the game is currently available on Android, iOS, and PC in those regions. SEGA and Atlus are now bringing this experience to players worldwide.
Created by Black Wing Game Studio with guidance from ex-Persona 5 developers, Phantom X follows a free-to-play model featuring a gacha system for acquiring new party members.

Phantom X introduces a fresh protagonist leading a new Phantom Thieves squad through a stylized Tokyo, featuring original palaces and Mementos locations.
Retaining the series' hallmark turn-based combat and social simulation, the game expands with a guild system, Velvet Trials PvE mode, and appearances by Persona 5's iconic characters.
The narrative begins with the hero awakening from disturbing dreams into a distorted reality, encountering Lefaye—a mysterious talking owl—and the enigmatic Velvet Room inhabitants, including the unsettling long-nosed attendant.
