Indie developer Theo Clarke's new game, Plantoons, transforms your backyard into a thrilling battle arena. Similar in spirit to Plants vs. Zombies, Plantoons offers a unique and engaging gameplay experience.
The Plantoons Gameplay:
Your garden becomes a gladiator arena where plants wage war against relentless waves of weeds. Unlike static plant defenses, Plantoons lets you level up and upgrade your plant warriors as you progress through increasingly challenging weed invasions.
The game begins with selecting a plant from your arsenal and strategically placing it on the battlefield. Your objective: defend against increasingly aggressive weed attacks. Thankfully, these weeds seem less terrifying than their zombie counterparts!
As you advance, you'll collect reward cards that enhance your plant army. These cards offer various boosts, allowing you to strengthen attacks, bolster defenses, or increase pollen production. Strategic plant placement is key to building effective defensive lines across your meadow.
Each plant boasts unique abilities and stats. Completing challenges expands your Card Bank, enabling customization and strategic deck building to optimize your plant army.
