Pokémon Center Hiroshima Relocation and Gyarados Plaza Launch
Pokémon Center Hiroshima will temporarily close in March 2025 and reopen at a new location in April 2025. A new Gyarados Plaza will also debut in March 2025.
Pokémon Center Hiroshima's New Home
The store will move to the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station. Currently located on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, the store's new location offers a fresh start after its ten-year run at the original site.
Gyarados Plaza Opens at Soramoa Plaza
The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will open on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza, located within the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Advance reservations will be required for a limited time after its opening; details will be available on the official Minamoa website.
Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event
Before its closure, Pokémon Center Hiroshima, along with other Pokémon Centers in Japan, will participate in a nationwide event celebrating "Poke-lun TV" reaching over 1 million subscribers. Fans can receive an exclusive sticker by providing a password obtained from a specific Poke-lun TV YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024).
Select Pokémon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will also feature photo opportunities with Poke-lun TV hosts. This event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025, and excludes Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Center Online, Pokémon Cafes, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Cafe.
