Pokémon GO Unveils New Tour Pass for Upcoming Unova Event
Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! A new Tour Pass is launching alongside the highly anticipated Unova event, running from February 24th to March 9th. This pass offers exciting rewards and progression milestones for all participants.
This year's Pokémon GO Tour focuses on the Unova region, bringing Gen 5 Pokémon into the spotlight with special wild encounters, raids, and egg hatches. Following the successful Kanto and Sinnoh tours, this Unova event promises another exciting chapter in the annual Pokémon GO Tour tradition.
The free Tour Pass allows players to earn Tour Points by completing various in-game tasks, including catching Pokémon, participating in raids, and hatching eggs. Progressing through the pass unlocks Minor and Major milestones, rewarding players with items like Candy and Stickers. Reaching the final milestone grants an encounter with a uniquely styled Zorua. Remember, all rewards expire on March 9th at 6 pm, so don't miss out!
Deluxe Pass Options:
For a more premium experience, a Deluxe Tour Pass is available for $14.99 (or $19.99 for a version with 10 ranks already unlocked) on the Pokémon GO in-app store from February 24th at 10 am to March 2nd at 6 pm local time. This upgraded pass includes all rewards from the free track, plus an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini and a new Lucky Trinket. This unique item instantly transforms a friend into a Lucky Friend, guaranteeing a Lucky Pokémon on your next trade, before resetting the Lucky Friend status. Deluxe Pass rewards, including the Lucky Trinket, also expire on March 9th at 6 pm.
Event Highlights:
The Unova GO Tour promises a thrilling experience, featuring the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, echoing last year's Necrozma fusion event. Shiny Meloetta will also make its debut, accessible through a ticketed Masterwork Research. The Tour Pass enhances the excitement, offering even more rewards to complement the main event.
