Pokémon GO May 2025 Roadmap Revealed: Expect Surprises!

May 2025 in Pokémon GO is shaping up to be an exciting month packed with a variety of thrilling events and raid opportunities. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the much-anticipated return of the Lake Trio to 5-Star Raids in multiple regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will grace Five-Star Raids from May 1st to May 12th, bringing with it the powerful special move Nature’s Madness and the chance to encounter its Shiny form.

Following Tapu Fini, the Lake Trio will make their return starting May 12th, with appearances varying by region. Trainers in the Asia-Pacific region will encounter Uxie, those in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India will have the chance to battle Mesprit, and players in the Americas and Greenland will face Azelf.

After the Lake Trio's departure, Tapu Bulu will take over Five-Star Raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature’s Madness and a potential Shiny encounter.

For fans of Mega Raids, May 2025 offers an impressive lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to May 12th, followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to May 25th, and finally, Mega Altaria will take the stage from May 25th to June 3rd.

And Here Are the Details of All the Events

The month kicks off with the "Growing Up" event from May 2nd to May 7th, and a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. From May 10th to May 18th, the "Crown Clash" event will take place, with a special Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.

Community Day is scheduled for May 11th, though the featured Pokémon remains a mystery for now. The "Crown Clash: Taken Over" event will run from May 14th to May 18th, followed by a Shadow Raid Day on May 17th.

Later in the month, "Final Strike: GO Battle Week" will occur from May 21st to May 27th, with the May Community Day Classic set for May 24th. Pokémon GO will close out the month with a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day on May 25th, 2025.
