Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!
Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration
The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza taking place across three international cities in June:
- Osaka, Japan: May 29 - June 1
- Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6 - June 8
- Paris, France: June 13 - June 15
Further details will be released in March 2025. Remember, event details are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.
This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, unique gameplay experiences, and special bonuses. In-person attendees will enjoy city-wide activities, exclusive merchandise, and community hubs. The chance to encounter rare and Shiny Pokémon is a major draw. Past events featured legendary Pokémon like Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow.
Expect a similar format for the 2025 event, filled with exciting opportunities for trainers worldwide.
Two More Pokémon GO Events in January!
Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two additional events for January 2025:
- Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th (12:00 pm) - January 19th (8:00 pm) local time. Features Shadow Palkia encounters, the debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12km Eggs), and other Shadow Pokémon. Keep an eye out for a fashionable Croagunk!
- Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time. Challenge five-star Shadow Raids for a chance to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket unlocks eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, 50% XP bonus from Raids, and a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Lucky catches can learn the signature move, Sacred Fire, with a Charged TM.
