Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!
Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)
This in-person event will take place in two locations: Los Angeles' Rose Bowl Stadium and New Taipei City's Metropolitan Park. Inspired by the Unova region games (Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2), the event features themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, and Autumn Masquerade) with region-specific Pokémon. Shiny Deerling variations will appear depending on the habitat and time of day.
Trainers can encounter Shiny Meloetta via Masterwork Research, hatch Shiny Sigilyph and Bouffalant, and potentially find shiny Pikachu with unique hats through Field Research. Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses, Druddigon in Three-Star Raids, and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott in One-Star Raids, all with increased shiny rates.
Tickets are available now at a discounted price ($25 USD in Los Angeles, $630 NT in New Taipei City). Add-on ticket options offer extra bonuses. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8 respectively), with booths and team lounges offering merchandise and relaxation areas.
A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will occur on March 1-2, offering free Unova exploration for all trainers.
Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)
This citywide event will be held in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery!
Ticket holders will receive a special explorer hat-wearing Eevee. Evolving this Eevee (using 25 Eevee Candy) retains the hat. The Eevee Explorers Expedition offers a second hat-wearing Eevee.
Expect Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, and more in the wild, with Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu Styles), Swablu, and Skiddo appearing in eggs. Location-specific Pokémon will also be available. Maps will be provided, and Pikachu or Eevee visors (while supplies last) will be given to participants.
Tickets cost R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong, with add-ons offering extra items and increased shiny encounter chances. Don't miss out!
