Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Set for January 28th
After a short delay, the acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally bloom on PlayStation consoles. Initially slated for a December 17th release on PS4 and PS5, the game's launch was pushed back to allow for further polishing. The new release date is now confirmed as January 28th, 2025.
Originally launched in April 2024 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered widespread praise, establishing itself as a top-tier puzzle game. Publisher Whitethorn Games announced the delay in December, prioritizing player experience over a rushed release.
The January 9th announcement of the new January 28th release date fulfills Whitethorn's promise to provide an updated launch window. While the release date is set, a PS Store page is still pending, meaning pre-orders aren't yet available.
Expect Botany Manor to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms. The game features a one-time purchase model with no microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store, mirroring its absence from the Switch and Xbox versions.
Enriching PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup
Botany Manor's strong reception (an 83 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) speaks for itself. Its charming atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and engaging exploration have captivated critics and players alike. Its addition to the PlayStation catalog significantly strengthens the platform's already impressive puzzle game selection.
With its arrival on the PlayStation Store, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Developer Balloon Studios hasn't yet revealed their next project. Joining Botany Manor on the PlayStation Store on January 28th are Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
