What is Purple, the new mobile game from Bart Bonte?

Bart Bonte's latest brain teaser, simply titled "Purple," is now available on Google Play and the App Store. This microgame collection, part of a color-themed series (Yellow, Red, Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Orange preceding it), features over 50 uniquely challenging puzzles.

The gameplay revolves around a rapid succession of short, self-contained puzzles, reminiscent of Warioware. Examples include aligning numbered tiles or navigating mazes. The focus isn't on overwhelming complexity, but on inventive challenges and brisk pacing.

Visually, "Purple" boasts a stylish aesthetic, consistent with its namesake, complemented by an original soundtrack. The game's art nouveau influences add to its charm. While the simplicity might not appeal to everyone, the quick puzzles, pleasing soundtrack, and attractive visuals offer a satisfying experience. Whether "Purple" will garner awards like Bonte's previous titles remains to be seen.
