Uncharted Waters Origin's latest update, "The Lighthouse of the Ruins," introduces a challenging new PvE event, a fresh S-grade Admiral, and several new crew members. This update also includes a new Mate Growth system and special attendance events, all available for a limited time.
A Monthly PvE Challenge: The Lighthouse of the Ruins
The Lighthouse of the Ruins presents a tiered PvE challenge where players ascend through various levels, battling enemies and earning rewards such as Blue Gems and Shipbuilding Accelerations. The event resets monthly, allowing players to retain some progress (up to half) from the previous month. Each attempt costs 10 energy, with 8 energy refunded upon failure. However, redo items are not permitted, and rank rewards are awarded only once per month.
New Admiral and Crew Members
William Adams, a renowned English navigator, joins the game as a new S-grade Admiral. His story, involving his arrival in Japan aboard the Dutch ship Liefde, adds a compelling narrative element. The update also introduces new Mates: Naoe Kanetsugu and Togo Grimani (normal Mates), and Ga Eunjeong and Tatsumaru (Employee Mates).
Transcendence: Enhanced Mate Growth
The new Transcendence system enhances Mate growth. After maximizing Premium Training for a Mate, Transcendence unlocks, providing an additional Effect slot. The Tome of Transcendence, required for Transcendence, can be obtained from The Lighthouse of the Ruins, Arctic Waters Land Training, and a smuggling ring assistant captain in Cape Town.
Limited-Time Combat Support Event
The Combat Support Special Attendance Event runs until November 5th. Players can claim 60 Tomes of Transcendence, 40 Highest Combat Appointments, a Birch Board, and equipment like the Marxbrüder Zweihänder & Rüstung simply by logging in.
