- Raising Reincarnated SwordMage is an upcoming new idle RPG.
- Similar to GoGo Wolf!, it combines a Survivors-like perspective with autobattler skill mechanics.
- You play as SwordMage Aria, embarking on a journey to exact revenge on those who betrayed her.
You know that saying about waiting ages for a bus, and then three arrive at once? Right after the release of GoGo Wolf! earlier today, another game of a very similar style landed on my desk. So, let's dive into what the upcoming idle RPG action of Raising Reincarnated SwordMage has in store for us.
Scheduled for a July release, and as its slightly lengthy title suggests, this idle RPG leans heavily on its core concept. You take control of the sword mage Aria, who was betrayed by her closest allies just before their final battle and met her demise. But she returns, reincarnated into her distant past as a novice swordswoman, driven by a burning desire for vengeance.
In Raising Reincarnated SwordMage, your role is much like any other autobattler. You decide when and how to deploy skills, continuously manage the progression of your revenge-driven SwordMage, and battle through swarms of enemies.

Thrilling gameplay
If blending the Survivors-like genre with idle RPG elements is the new trend, count me in. However, similar to GoGo Wolf!, a key detail Raising Reincarnated SwordMage leaves out is the extent of control players actually have over Aria. Vampire Survivors, despite its 30-minute sessions, already incorporates many features typical of idle RPGs, but it's the direct control over your character's movement that truly defines the experience.
With that in mind, for this emerging trend to truly stand out, it would be great if it allowed players to test their skills and reflexes, just like in other Survivors-like titles.
Speaking of which, if you're keen to test your skills as a warrior in the Survivors-like arena, why not revisit the game that defined the genre? Check out our list of the top seven mobile games similar to Vampire Survivors to see which titles we believe stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the best.
