Bluepoch Games first unveiled this exciting collaboration back in January. Now, they've shared more details about the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin's Creed crossover that will introduce Ezio as a playable character.
Partnering with Ubisoft, the event will highlight two beloved entries from the AC franchise: Assassin's Creed II and Odyssey. The initial January teaser featured Vertin walking down a rain-soaked street with the iconic Assassin's Creed emblem glowing in the distance.
Ezio Joins Reverse: 1999's Roster!
The full roadmap has finally been revealed. The collaboration will launch across Android, iOS and PC platforms in August 2025. While Ezio Auditore da Firenze takes center stage, players can anticipate additional AC-themed content throughout the event.
This ambitious crossover unfolds across two distinct phases, each offering unique Assassin's Creed narratives and activities. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her companions will navigate 15th-century Italy while deciphering mysterious clues.
Phase II dramatically shifts the setting to ancient Greece, specifically recreating the world of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Fans of the original game will recognize familiar scenarios as Vertin's team becomes entangled in historical events.
A Landmark Collaboration
This update marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999 as it will be the first global server synchronization. Players worldwide will gain simultaneous access to all event content.
Reverse: 1999 is a time-bending RPG that blends modern and vintage artistic styles. Players assume the role of Vertin, a Timekeeper uniquely immune to "The Storm" - a mysterious phenomenon that erases entire historical periods.
After these temporal disturbances occur, Vertin and her partner Sonetto journey across different eras to rescue fellow arcanists sensitive to these dimensional shifts.
The game is available for download via the Google Play Store.
