Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Katherine Romance Guide

You first meet Katherine relatively early in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but it takes time to uncover her true identity and purpose. To pursue romance with her, you must advance a considerable way in the main story and complete several of her associated side quests.

I'll outline all key steps and decision points below.

The King’s Gambit

Your choices largely don't matter until you reach the main quest 'The King's Gambit'. During this quest, you'll spend a night in Suchdol and have the opportunity to spend time with Katherine.

In this scene, while you're in Sigismund's camp, Katherine will bathe you. To begin flirting, select these dialogue options:

"It’s different with you.""What about a kiss for luck?"

Complete Side Quests for Katherine

After finishing The King's Gambit, you must complete two side quests for Katherine in the Kuttenberg region: The Fifth Commandment and The Stalker.

The Fifth Commandment

Initiate The Fifth Commandment by speaking with Katherine in the Kuttenberg tavern; she'll ask for help tracking a serial killer. The quest is straightforward, but a critical choice arises at the end.

It's essential to let Katherine kill the serial killer instead of turning him in, as this significantly boosts your standing with her.

The Stalker

Start the next quest by speaking with Katherine again. This time, you're tasked with confronting a stalker and persuading him to leave Katherine alone.

Again, the objectives are simple, though you'll need to pass a Speech check to convince him to go. Alternatively, you can bribe him with 200 groschen or resort to violence.

The Italian Job

After finishing these two side quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, continue the main story until you reach The Italian Job. In this quest, you must rescue hostages before speaking with Jan Zizka.

Before talking to Zizka, go outside to the courtyard and ascend the stairs in the minting room to find Katherine. Compliment her in conversation, then proceed with the main quest.

Hunger and Despair

Finally, when you reach the main quest 'Hunger and Despair', you can properly romance Katherine. After fending off soldiers and speaking with Zizka, talk to Katherine in the infirmary and select this dialogue option:

"I’ll bring help, and everything will be alright again."

Afterward, meet her at the ramparts to conclude her romance storyline.

That's the complete guide to romancing Katherine in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For more game tips and information, check The Escapist, including guides on whether to kill Jakesh and how to locate the Cumans' Camp.
