RuneScape unveils an exciting roadmap for 2024 and 2025! Jagex recently shared a detailed preview of upcoming content in their latest "RuneScape Ahead" video. Let's explore what's in store for RuneScape players.
What's Coming?
A highly anticipated Group Ironman mode is launching later this year. Team up with up to four friends for a collaborative RuneScape experience, free from external assistance and XP boosts.
This autumn, brave the Gate of Elidinis, a challenging new Skilling Boss encounter within the Sanctum of Rebirth. This thrilling challenge is part of an upcoming major story quest.
The roadmap also highlights a series of story quests throughout 2024 and 2025. A new winter quest revisits classic storylines, leading to an exciting confrontation in the desert with Amascut. A brand-new end-game boss fight against Amascut, the Devourer, will follow the conclusion of these desert-based quests.
Significant skilling updates are planned. A Woodcutting & Fletching update, featuring a new skill tree and weapons, arrives this year. RuneCrafting and Crafting level 110 updates are scheduled for 2025.
Seasonal events are returning! The "Harvest Hollow" event debuts later this year with a new quest, spooky rewards, and themed activities. The popular "Christmas Village" event will also make a comeback later in the year, bringing new quests, festive fun, and holiday rewards.
RuneScape Roadmap 2024-2025: Get Excited!
A large new area expansion is slated for late 2025. Many player-requested features are also on the way, including new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a new Slayer Monster.
