Square Enix has thrilled fans by releasing SaGa Frontier 2: Remastered on mobile and other platforms. This beloved RPG, originally launched on the PlayStation in 1999 in Japan and in 2000 in North America and Europe, returns with upgraded visuals and new content to enhance the gaming experience.
SaGa Frontier 2: Remastered Is Now Available on Android
SaGa Frontier 2 is set in the enchanting world of Sandail, where magic operates through a mystical force known as Anima. The game primarily follows two protagonists: Gustave, a royal who lacks magical talent, and William Knights, a young adventurer from a family of diggers who seek ancient relics called Quells.
Gustave's narrative begins with his banishment from the Kingdom of Finney due to his inability to harness Anima, a crucial aspect of their society. On the other hand, William, or Wil, embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind his parents' mysterious death and a mind-altering relic known as the Egg.
SaGa Frontier 2: Remastered enhances the original game's graphics with higher resolution, making the watercolor backgrounds sharper and more vibrant. The user interface has also been redesigned to improve navigation while preserving the classic feel of the game.

The combat system remains a standout feature, offering three distinct types of battles: Party Battles, Duels, and Warfare. Party Battles follow a traditional RPG format, while Duels are intense one-on-one confrontations where strategy is key.
Warfare, on the other hand, involves large-scale strategic engagements, ensuring that the combat remains dynamic and engaging. The remaster also reintroduces the glimmer system from the first game, allowing players to learn new techniques during combat, along with a combo mechanic that rewards players for chaining attacks with their team.
