Get ready for an exhilarating new chapter as Monster Hunter Now gears up to launch Season 5: The Blossoming Blade. Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details, and this season promises new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and monstrous encounters, all set to kick off on March 6th, 2025.
Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5
Before the season even starts, players will be treated to a special preview with the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This marks its grand debut ahead of its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. And when Season 5 officially launches, you'll encounter the formidable Glavenus and Arzuros joining the fray.
Weapon balance is also receiving a significant overhaul to ensure every weapon type is both viable and fun to use. The Sword & Shield will get a buff, making it easier to target breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward well-timed taps with enhanced performance, leading to more satisfying combat experiences.
The Guard skill is also being upgraded. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will significantly reduce damage when blocking. More details on these tweaks will be available in the full patch notes on March 6th.
And There Is More!
If you've ever struggled with an overflowing inventory, Monster Hunter Now Season 5 has great news for you. An Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item, providing an extra 250 slots to manage your gear more effectively.
Additionally, a new feature will be introduced on March 17th, coinciding with Monster Hunter Now’s 1.5-Year Anniversary. This feature allows you to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for incredible rewards. You can expect to acquire items like Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
So, prepare for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store and diving into the action.
