The new year has been exciting for *Pokemon GO* trainers, bringing a slew of new Pokemon to catch. Following the introduction of Fidough, Shroodle is set to make its mark in the game, though not as a simple wild spawn.
When Did Shroodle Come to Pokemon GO?
Shroodle, known as the Toxic Mouse Pokemon, entered *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally introduced in *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, Shroodle is a fresh face in the Pokemon universe. Post-debut, trainers will have ongoing opportunities to add this Pokemon to their collections.
Can Shroodle Be Shiny?
At its launch, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant available in *Pokemon GO*. Its Shiny form is expected to be introduced in a future event, possibly one focused on Poison-type Pokemon or involving Team GO Rocket.
How To Get Shroodle in Pokemon GO

Starting at 12 AM local time on January 15, any 12KM eggs you collect have the potential to hatch into Shroodle. The Pokemon will likely be more prevalent during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but expect it to remain part of the 12KM egg pool afterward.
How To Get 12K Eggs
Given that Shroodle is exclusive to 12K eggs, it's useful to know how to obtain them. These eggs are among the rarest in *Pokemon GO*, and the only way to get one is by defeating a Team GO Rocket Leader or Giovanni. The Taken Over event is an excellent opportunity to gather 12KM eggs, as Team GO Rocket will be more active and Rocket Radars will be easier to acquire. You can challenge Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff at any time to earn a 12K egg, provided you have the inventory space.
How To Get Grafaiai in Pokemon GO

The only way to obtain Grafaifai is by evolving Shroodle, which requires 50 Shroodle Candy. This means you'll need to hatch multiple Shroodle or set it as your buddy to collect the necessary Candies for the evolution.
*Pokemon GO is available to play now*.
