The Sims 4 celebrates 25 years of immersive gameplay with its newest expansion pack: "The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies," launching March 6th, 2025. This expansion allows players to transform their Sims' passions into profitable ventures.
This expansion builds upon previous content, offering new ways to integrate existing game packs and stuff packs. Sims can now establish various businesses, including:
- Pet Cafes (Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack)
- Karaoke Bars (City Living Expansion Pack)
- Dance Clubs or Arcades (Get Together Expansion Pack)
- Acting Schools (Get Famous Expansion Pack)
- Bowling Alleys (Bowling Night Stuff Pack)
- Spas (Spa Day Game Pack)
- Laundromats (Laundry Day Stuff Pack)
In addition to existing business options, two new skills are introduced: Tattooing and Pottery. Sims can run their own tattoo parlors, designing custom tattoos with a range of tools, or establish pottery studios, crafting and selling unique clay creations.
A new Business Perk system adds depth to gameplay, letting players choose a business strategy:
- Dreamer: Prioritizes customer satisfaction over profit.
- Schemer: Focuses on maximizing profit, even if it means cutting corners.
- Neutral: Aims for a balance between profit and customer satisfaction.
These choices impact gameplay and interactions.
The expansion also introduces Nordhaven, a charming coastal town brimming with artistic energy and ideal locations for businesses and hobbies.
