Even a brief look at the awe-inspiring presence of one of Elden Ring's most celebrated players, Let Me Solo Her, can humble the mightiest Tarnished. Yet, this formidable player faced significant challenges when tackling one of FromSoftware's toughest adversaries, Bloodborne's Orphan of Kos.
Let Me Solo Her first gained fame within the Elden Ring community in April 2022, stepping into the role of a loincloth-wearing, jar-headed savior. He became a beacon of hope for countless players struggling against the game's notorious optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
By his own account, since then he has dedicated over 1,200 hours to the game and faced Malenia thousands of times. His dedication and prowess earned him legendary status among Elden Ring enthusiasts, culminating in FromSoftware honoring him with an actual sword.
In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared his experience transitioning to a PS5 to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, which finally allowed him to dive into the fan-favorite game, Bloodborne. As a seasoned FromSoft player, he still encountered significant difficulties with some of Bloodborne's most notorious boss fights.
Adjusting to the game's 30 fps, after being accustomed to Elden Ring's smoother 60 fps, along with grappling with the game's heavy atmosphere and the initial defeat by the clinic's werewolf (a common experience for many players), Let Me Solo Her documented his entire journey through Bloodborne, including its DLC.
"Finally, I met the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game with a DLC features that one final boss that feels overwhelmingly powerful," he remarked. "We had Promised Consort Radahn for Elden Ring, Slave Knight Gael for Dark Souls 3, and Manus, Father of the Abyss for Dark Souls 1. And Orphan of Kos was that boss for Bloodborne.
"This boss required more attempts than any other I've faced, and even drove me to explore Chalice Dungeons off-stream to farm Blood Vials and bullets for replenishment," Let Me Solo Her noted (thanks, GamesRadar+). "He's undoubtedly the hardest boss in Bloodborne for me."
