Star Wars Celebration unveiled not just the October 29, 2025 release date for Star Wars: Visions Volume 3, but also announced an exciting new spin-off series continuing the Ninth Jedi storyline that began in Volume 1.
The upcoming third volume will showcase nine new animated shorts from elite Japanese studios including Studio Trigger (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema Citrus, Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q.

Three episodes will continue storylines from earlier volumes: Kamikaze Douga's The Duel, Kinema Citrus's The Village Bride, and Production I.G.'s The Ninth Jedi.
Director Kenji Kamiyama revealed Kara's adventure will expand through a dedicated spin-off series, allowing deeper exploration of these Visions storylines. While details remain scarce, we know Kara and Juro will reunite in Volume 3's "Child of Hope" episode.
